An early start for me on Monday, as I went out with Uncle Jeff on the truck to haul logs. We left at 01:30, took the barge to the pick up, then drove to the lumber mill to drop off. We arrived back at the house for about 10:30.
Once we arrived back, Jeff went to haul another load while the rest of us headed back to PG for Hailey’s birthday. There was drink, cake, camping out for the kids, and more drink for the adults!
After a slow start to the day, we all headed shopping at the mall, where i am now writing. After some lunch a Red Robin, we are heading to the Rail and Forest museum before parting ways.
Claire, Erin and I will be heading on to Valemount excited for the road ahead, sad to be parting with family, but thankful for the good times we leave behind.
