After a quick trip to Tim Hortons (now a favoured option when in a rush) we head to pick up our ride for the week, a Dodge Ram 1500 pick up. A great team at Enterprise supported us in ppsorting things quickly, even pausing so we could Eclipse watch!
A walk downtown and the Fair at PNE
What a day! We started by catching the SkyTrain to Central Vancouver for a spot of brunch, courtesy of Two Parrots a Cafe… great service, and just as importantly great coffee and food! Erin went for a Chorizo and Mushroom omelette, and Claire tucked into a Two Parrots Breakfast. I opted for a Salt Beef Brisket benny.

First day…
After a looong sleep, we have headed to The local Tim Hortons for a breakfast, then taken the SkyTrain to Chinatown. Off to the Vancouver Lookout next.
The Last Leg…
The final part of our flights was on a roomy 747-8; we were right by the back and as a result were regularly plied with drink, and then offered a top up to “finish the bottle”.

Off to a rocky (and early) start…
So… that went well!
Thanks so much to Steve for driving us to Heathrow to fly; that went smoothly at least! The drive was great, but then somebody (me) managed to screw up my wife’s boarding pass and visa application… booked under married name, not as appearing on passport!
