Claire loved it, needless to say, and it gave me a great opportunity to prepare for the next leg of the journey.

We left Prince George at about 12:30 and headed for Burns Lake. Despite the Sat Nag (intentional misspelling) constantly trying to redirect us around Burns Lake instead of via the free ferry, we made good time.

Unfortunately, once arriving at the area where my family live I completely missed their house… Eventually we found the right place, but after unintentionally driving to where other family members lived instead! However, had we not done this I would not have spied the first bear and deer of the trip. Winner = Dan!

Once we finally made it to the right house, Jeff and Rhonda threw a great meal of Moose and Beef steaks with salad, veggies, and Blueberry Wine, followed by a raspberry cake and iced cream. We were joined by Joni and her family too.
